It is very important to get the software that is described below. Time was we used audio cassettes. They have been replaced by CDs and DVDs, but the great virtue of the audio cassette was you could easily rewind a few seconds at the touch of a button, and after a pause the tape would restart at exactly the point you left off. Not so easy with DVD and CD, is it ?.
You will need video software for your PC that will 1. allow you to rewind a few seconds, so you can have another go at understanding 2. allow you to bookmark where you've got up to 3. support subtitles I use ALShow, a free video reader that you can find here, but other readers will support the subtitles and the clips you will find here To use as little disk space as possible, and speed up download time, I use DivX. If you find that none of your video readers will play the files from this site, then you need to download the DivX codec, from here After installation, it will allow any of your video readers to play a DivX encoded video You will also find audio only versions of the extracts. The best software for us is Winamp, which allows rewinding a few seconds. Download it from here

What are these files? Extension .avi is the video file.
As above, you need the DivX codec installed, and I recommend ALShow Extension .srt is the subtitle file. Store the file in the same directory as the .avi, and your video software will load the subtitles automatically. ALShow uses Ctrl + H to switch subtitles on and off Extension .doc is the text Extension .mp3 is the audio only file that you can play with Winamp
